you need to go to the page margin options dialog. It's under the page setup option on the file menu. In there there should be a way to manually adjust the margins.

Open Word. Open a new document, if one has not automatically opened. Go to File, then to page setup. There will be a tab that says "margins". on that tab, you will see headings that say "top", "Bottom", "left" and "right". Adjust the top one to a smaller number.

Go Into File Which is located on the top left corner , You'll see an option of Page Setup In there, Click it and a window should open up. The Window that open will have a section of Margins containing fields like "TOP" "RIGHT" "LEFT" "BOTTOM". Change the Value in the "TOP" Category accordingly.

In the menu bar, select File, select Page Setup. When the box opens, select the Margins tab. Adjust the size of the margins you want. Then near the bottom of the box under Preview, select Apply to whole document. Click OK. You should be good to go.

To change the margins for part of a document, select the text, and then set the margins you want. In the Apply to box, click Selected text. Microsoft Word automatically inserts section breaks before and after the text with the new margin settings.
