Generally speaking, bromeliads need a fair amount of sun and should be kept well watered. There is some variety depending on your specific variety. Generally, you should keep the cup in the center of the plant, often referred to as the tank, full of water, and the soil should be moist. Bromeliads also like small amounts of slow release fertilizer.

They are an easy care plant. They grow best in smaller pots with a medium like tree-fern bark or other bark mixtures. Water them twice a week by spraying or submerging the plant in water for a few minutes.
