First if I was you I would keep a table cloth on the table for extra protection. One way to clean it is to use wood cleaner and keep it covered.

Keep it clean with a mild soap (Murphy's Oil Soap is great. ) Use a commercial polish such as Liquid Gold, from time to time, and dust regularly. If you use the table for a bar, you may want to apply varathane or varnish to seal it so the liquid does not penetrate the wood.

You'll need to purchase some high-quality furniture polish, something like Old English, not pledge. Wipe the table when necessary, dry, then (at least once a month) apply furniture polish and rub into the wood, then you can shine it up nicely and keep the wood dust-free and prevent cracking or other damage.

for a table top, you must not put any warm water above it. because it may damage your table and you might dislike it.
