How do you care for a kalanchoe?

First you'll have to decide if you want to repot it. Alternately you can put the plant inside a decorative planter without a drain hole. The thing about kalanchoes is they can't be soggy. Let the dirt dry out some between waterings. Then soak it. Trim the flower stems back after blooming. Wait a few weeks. New flowers!

It is actually pretty rare the best thing you can do is go to you local greenhouse and tell them what you have and ask them how to take care of it.
