How do you care for a Chinese Dogwood?

Easier to grow than the native dogwoods, fertile soil, good drainage, and regular watering during dry season will basically provide what it takes for it to thrive. It does take extra time to flower and loves being in afternoon shade. Be careful not to over fertilize.

This tree needs indirect sunlight. Soil should be moist as it suits the growth. Fertilizer suitable should be spreaded around the tree & watered for good result. Disease named anthracnose which is caused due to severe draught condition & from community causes diaster to the tree. Drainage of water after watering is essential. Good soil nutrients for roots gives good results.
