If you just want to get the mp4 into the dvd as something you would read on your personal computer or laptop then I recommend software like Nero Burning Rom. If what you're looking for is to convert it to a dvd movie to play on a dvd player then try something like Adobe Encore.

Open your DVD softwhere, choose DVD video option. Next select "add video files". Then build your own DVD menu, once finished go to the preview menu. Make sure the menu is the way you want it. After that hit the burn button and when finished watch your video.

In order to burn an mp4 to dvd, you should simply have a burning software like Nero Burning. Just open the mp4 in Nero and choose DVD.

You need a dvd rewriter and a rewritable dvd. With the dvd writer you should get some software that will guide you through the process. The easiest softaware is NERO.

You have to download video2dvd but I wouldn't suggest it ,my dad thought he can just burn an mp4 to a dvd but found out he had to download something that caused him problems also it really screwed up our computer big time ,but there are probly other legit websites but my dad was through after that experience.

Well to to archive ti simply burn it straight to the dvd. However if you you want to make a video disk then you will need to use some type of video authoring program. Look online for what people recommended for burning mp4's.

I would not burn an mp4 to dvd because not many DVD players support mp4 format, so better if you use converter, and then use Nero Burn software.
