How do you brush a cat's teeth?

Do you have to let a vet do it?

Cat owners can find feline toothbrushes and toothpaste at specialty pet supply stores. However, as anyone with a cat knows, cats are not particularly fond of having their mouths messed with, so if you have the money, it's worth it to see a vet.

Get yourself a small soft toddler tooth brush , dampen it , gently lift the sides of the kittens mouth and brush up and down, repeat on the other side,

There are plenty of pet toothbrushes and toothpaste that you can get at pet stores. The hardest part is getting your cat used to the event itself which I think is why alot of people simply take them to the vet.
