Assert yourself (without being mean) around other men. Don't allow others to do things that you could just as easily do. Make decisions and stick with them without allowing others to significantly waver your thoughts on the matter. Keep in mind that the most important thing is to always be yourself. You just need to be a more assertive version!

Become the biggest jerk you can be. Stand up. Speak up. Look everyone straight in the eye and make them wish they were you. Helps if you quit whining first.

Being the alpha male starts from within. You need to feel confident about yourself and your abilities, and you will eventually exude confidence and gain respect.

Either increase your talents and abilities until you are the most capable and qualified, or move to a place where everyone else sucks.
