Female dobermans when they go into heat need to look for male doberman quickly. Femal dobermans tend not to stay in heat for long periods of time. If they are in heat and do not find suitable a suitable male doberman they can be very aggressive in nature and are annoying when in heat.

You can introduce your Doberman to a male at any time while she is in heat. This will likely result in puppies. If you don't want puppies, it's best to wait.
