Scented geraniums are not made, they are natural. The scent comes from an oil on the back of the leaves. They have many uses including floral arrangements, potpourri, and garden beds. The oil is a natural defense mechanism that the plant uses to cool itself during hot dry spells. They are originally from South Africa.
