How do roller coasters work?

I am very interested in all kinds of rides.

Roller coasters are usually belt propelled. The belt keeps running and it makes the cars go. The belt is run by some sort of engine.

Many roller coasters today rely on pure gravity and magnets. The magnetic force is strong enough to not only keep the cars on the track but push and pull the cars along at high speeds
