Puppies are more susceptible to bacteria, etc, because of their "inexperienced" immune systems. They may pick up bacteria from their mothers, or their own natural bacteria may overgrow in their urinary tract, which can cause an infection that then spreads upward into the bladder.

The only thing I can thing of if a puppy get repeating bladder infections is that they are not getting enough fluids that can cause bladder infestions try offering more water if that doesn't work try calling the vet explain it to them and they can give you some ideas.

puppies may have a bladder infection because they may have a short tract. for example is we, people, especially female, get a bladder infection because female have a shorter urinary tract unlike men who have long ones. because of this short tract the microorganism enters easily the bladder causing a immune response which is the infection itself.

Puppies get bladder infections when bacteria grows in their urinary tract and kidney. The exposure can easily happen through their environment. Normally bacteria that finds it's way into the tract will be flushed out when they urinate, however it doesn't always and that creates infections.
