Bladder infections, if left untreated, can lead to kidney infections. I would recommend that you submit a urine sample to your veterinarian so that they can test it to rule out other problems. Generally a two week course of proper antibiotics will cure bladder infections.

At home there is not much you can do for your puppy. It's best to go to the vet so that you can be prescribed necessary medications to get rid of the infection.

The most you can do is take your puppy to the vet, and have him prescribe the medication your puppy needs to help him. Follow the directions he gives.

Bladder infections are very uncomortable and can easily spread to the kidneys and do permanent damage. Your puppy should be taken to the vet and they should do a urine analysis to find out what caused the infection. This is important because it is abnormal for a puppy to have this infection. Your puppy needs antibiotics immediately.

You need to get him to the Vet as soon as you can. Untreated bladder infections can cause crystals in the urine which can potentially kill your puppy. Your Vet will give you a simple pill which you give your dog every day for a week or two and it will go away.

A natural and helpful remedy is following. Give your Puppy 1000mg of Vitamin C for only a couple of days. To ensure that s/he drinks plenty of fluid add salty broth to its diet as it will force the puppy to drink more and helps flushing their system.

You should take your puppy to the vet and make sure it has a bladder infection. If the dog does have a bladder infection, the vet can perscribe the proper medication. Regardless, the puppy needs to go to the vet, if left untreated you'll be inviting other problems down the road.
