Cover letters should be one page or less. They should be block style, so that they are easy to read. They should start by thanking the potential employer for the job opportunity. The central paragraphs should highlight skills from previous jobs and experiences that will be beneficial in the sought-after position. The concluding paragraph should attempt to schedule an interview.
