(Client's Name), I (individual/company's name), would like to inform you of (service's name) price increase. Indicate the original price of this service followed by the price increase, the new price of the service. Explain why the price has been increased. Guarantee that the quality of the service has stayed the same or will improve. Thank them for their continued patronage.

Assuming you are complaining about the increase, write a polite letter protesting the increase. It will likely do not good but it may make you feel better.

As of April 2, 2009 there will be a price increase for our services. We appreciate your patronage, and hope you will continue to take advantage of our competitive prices.

Epresses appreciation for their business. List the reasons for the price increases, such as minimum wage and taxes going up. Then ask for continued support and business in the future.

You can state in the letter that you are experiencing a financial setback and that you are unable to afford the increased price. You can also try to negotiate on a lower price with the company in the letter. Also state that you are willing to meet with them in person to discuss a flexible payment plan.
