Connect the ground wire to the GFCI on the green screw. Then connect on the line side of the GFCI the white wire in the silver screw and the colored wire on the silver screw. The colored wire from the GFCI will connect to a copper screw on the switch.

You will need to take your GFCI receptacle and place together with the light switch you will need to wire the wires from GFCI onto the light switch. Then you will need to wire the light switch to the outlet to the wall. After that you will need to wire together with a light place if needed.

A GFCI can be installed either at the main breaker box or behind individual light switchs. Installation is simple for someone with basic electrician skills; shut off the main breaker and carefully attach the wires to the 'in' and 'out' leads. Multiple switches can be wired to the same GFCI.

First you have to connect the ground wire on the green screw. Then connect the white wire on the silver screw to ground out both wires.

You will need to take the receptacle and place it inside of the whole where the light switch is located. Then you will need to get two red wires and attached them to the ends of the GFCI switch. Then you will need to drill to the wall and attach the plate.

You wire them just as you would a normal receptacle and light switch. The GFCI will not be able to be reset for normal use if it's wired wrong.

Assuming you are replacing a regular outlet, follow the wiring diagram that comes with GFCI. Come off of line side for the switch. Go through the switch to the light.
