Plastic/"Shrink"-wrap keeps objects from shifting while being transported.
For instance:
Stack mixed-items on a wooden-pallet,
Wrap plastic-wrap around them,
and then double-secure the load with ratcheting-straps.
Often "plastic"-wrap is used rather than "heat/shrink"-wrap.
Moderate-heat from a hair-dryer/hot-air gun shrinks "Heat/Shrink"-wrap tighter in size.
Re-Usable Canvas/Plastic-tarps & Ratcheting-straps are more environmentally-friendly.
