How do I tune music down 1 and 1/2 steps?

On a fretted instrument, this would be three frets; you would make the music flatter by three frets. Another way to think of this is that 1 and 1/2 steps would be a minor third. On a keyboard with transposition, move it down three steps.

It all depends on whether you are transposing the music or whether you want to tune your instrument down 1 1/2 steps. In transposition, each note in the music would be moved down 1. 5 steps. Then you can either re-write it or write chords and sing/play melody.
