In order to alleviate wrist pain commonly associated with typing you take breaks on a regular basis and perform some basic stretching exercises to help with the pain.

A good treatment would be to get some hand braces because they will help support your wrist with all of your typing. Also, make sure you are in an environment that has a constant temperature.

The best treatment is rest. You may also benefit from keeping heat on your wrist, and taking an anti-inflamatory like ibuprofen. If the pain does not go away within a few days, you should see a doctor. If you take ibuprofen, obey the instructions on the bottle, because it can cause harm if mis-used.

The pain in your wrist is most likely due to carpal tunnel syndrome. Because of the way your hands are positioned when typing, pressure is put on blood vessels and nerves that travel through your wrist. Ice your wrist and buy a wrist pad for typing.
