You can place various cleaning formulas that you can use to remove the mildew. However, there are a less chemical of cleaning soap which is safer and it helps with the break down of the mildew and is safer for the environment. You can also allow the mildew to continue and they will break down through the season.

Prune damaged branches after trees have leafed out. Make sure you clean up debris and any leaves in order to prevent spreading. This disease is active mainly during cooler months. Rinse off mildew and use fungicide to control the disease.
