The way you say 'have a great day' in Spanish is, "Que tengas un buen día" or "Que lo pases bien hoy".

You should say: "Hola, tener un gran día". Spanish is very easy to pronounce and you read it as it spells so you do not have to look up in the dictionary for the transcription.
