To replace the CV Joint or boot on your ATV is fairly easy. You first must use a jack stand to set the frame of the ATV on. You then remove the wheel for the side that you need to replace the part on. Remove the Axle and replace the CV or the Boot, then replace the parts back in.

The boot is easy remove any clamps on the old one and cut it off. Then install a new two-piece one. To replace the joint the whole axle may need to be removed and sometime it has to be replaced if the joint isn't separate. It depends on the atv.

To replace a boot, remove any clamps and cut the old one off. Then install a two-piece replacement one. If the joint is bad the axle typically has be pulled.

Well the boot is easy. Just cut the old one off and install a new two piece one according to the instructions. The cv joint itself is a lot harder. The whole assemble must be removed. Mean the wheel and some of the suspension will have to come off. Then the shaft is slid out of the transmission.
