How do I replace a missing file called kernel.32.dll?

The kernel. 32. dll file should already be in your windows system folder, or in your windows system backup folder. If somehow the file is missing entirely from your system, you can still re-install it from the original Windows 95/98/XP CD. If you do not have the original disc, you can download the file online through your search engine.

this is not an existing file but i suppose kernel32. dll is what you mean you can find this on the cd or several websites if need be, use a recovery disk or dos boot disk depending on which os, to boot and copy the file

This is a major window operating file and cannot be replaced. You will need to locate installation disk and reinstall you system.

If you are wanting to replace this type of file then you may have to put in your backup disk.
