I don't know just what is wrong with your faucet sprayer but if it is not flowing properly, you need to remove the end of the sprayer and remove the filter and clean it out. Minerals collect in there and clog it up.

Turn off the water. Disconnect the sprayer and check for broken pieces or faucet that has come loose. Clean everything off and reconnect. If it continues to leak. Repeat. Turn water on and check for leak.

First loosen the nut under the sink that tightens the sprayer to the sink base. Check the rubber washer to make sure it is not damaged. Replace and your done.
