If part of the dipstick is still stuck in there, you will have to get it out somehow. Then just slide the new one in.

If dipstick broke off inside use a small magnet to pull old one out. Easiest and cheapest is to go to part store and buy new one.

You could just tape it. I would just buy a new one they are pretty cheap and you can get them at Walmart.

Replace dipstick with a knowen good part. Make sure that it is installed right so that it will not break again.

I don't think a repair is worth the effort. Just contact a dealer or look in your local junkyard to find a new one. They shouldn't be that much and you know it will be less likely to fail.
