It depends on what you're redeeming them for. If you have won a prize as indicated in the bottle cap, then the best thing to do is to refer to the products website where they generally have the necessary redpemtion information available. If you are redeeming for a charity or other purpose, refer to that organization's website for instructions.

Redeeming poptops is mostly an urban myth, but McDonalds and Shriners decided to make use of that and will take poptops, recycling the aluminum by pound to help their charities.
