How do I proceed to format a new memory card on a Nokia 5200?

A memory card can either be formatted directly on the phone or more easily on a computer. With the computer simply reconnect the phone, once the memory card appears on the desktop, right click on the card and then highlight format. Important to note that formatting will delete any previous information on the card.

Take the memory card out, put it in your computer (you might need an adapter: standard/mini). Then go into the folder with windows and click Format

Goto menu then open gallery select the memory card on memory card click options choose format memory card, it will ask you to confirm format memory card just you select the option yes.
