How do I perform fuel rail repairs in a Corolla?

Before anything else: relieve the fuel pressure. Take out the fuel pump fuse and start car, it will die quickly. No major repairs (beyond gaskets) can be performed to rail.

the only repair that should be made to a fuel rail is the replacment of the o rings on it. other then that any leaks or cracks require replacing it.

The best thing to do is to relieve the pressure on the rail by opening the plug. You can then replace the fuel rail by taking out the bolts holding it down.

Fuel repairs are pretty basic. You will have to rewire the circuit on the hood and see if it goes through. Then try braking a couple of times and see if it's good to go.

make sure that the key is off or fuel will spray out. remove the bolts that are along either the front or back side of the fuel rail. the rail should lift off fairly easy . then u would remove the injectors by taking the small metal clips off "do not lose them" leaving uwith the bare rail in hand
