Fleas can live in carpet, on pets, and also in grassy areas. So, all areas will need to be treated with an effective pesticide. Fleas reproduce quickly, so it will be necessary to repeat treatments for a few weeks. Bathe pets, vacuum carpets, and keep lawn short until the problem has been resolved.

There is no way to make it permanent but you can do things to prevent it. Keeping the hair of the animal cut short as well as keeping them bathed will make them less likely to infest your pet. Also keeping up with where your animal visits will improve the chances of no infestation.

If you have any pets, it is necessary to place them on a regular flea control product; additionally, the premises must be cleaned thoroughly, especially carpets and furniture.

Basically you need to destroy all the eggs and live fleas. That means treating and cleaning everything that has come in contact with fleas. Then you can apply flea treatments and use traps. Repeat this process until all fleas are gone.

I have to use flea protection products on my pets, such as flea shampoos, flea collars, flea dips or flea sprays. I can use spot on treatments also. And I have to regularly clean my house especially the place of the pets. I can apply insecticides in the house.
