Most of the times you can find your router's password in your manual or in the manufacturer's web site. If you have changed the default password though then the only thing you can do is to hard reset the router to restore the default password.

On most home routers, there is a small reset button located on the back or on the bottom. Hold it in for a period of time and it will reset back to the factory settings. The initial user/password will be in your manual.

Router password can mean either the password to get into the admin console or the encryption key to allow a device to access a wireless network. Either of these passwords can easily be reset using a hard reset utility on the router. Refer to your router's website to find instructions on how to perform a hard reset of the router.

The default router username / password depends on the make / model of your router. Check the user manual. If you already set up a custom password but can't remember it, reset the router to the factory default configuration.

The easiest thing to do when you forgot your password is to just reset the router. Consult your manual or contact the manufacturer to see how to do this.

In many cases, routers come with default passwords. If you haven't explicitly changed it before, you may be able to search for the information online and get the password... But I'd suggest you change the password once you login for the first time for security reasons.

First locate the manufacturer and model number of your router, then Google searching for "[manufacturer][model number] default password". If you have forgotten a custom password, there is unfortunately no way to recover this, but there is usually a pinhole on the back or side of the router labeled "reset" that will restore it to the factory defaults.

Most common methods are used to recover this problem. A small reset button was situated on the back. Hold this button some seconds and it will reset to factory setting. If you want initial user name and password was in manual.

You will probably have to look up the manufacturer default, and reset the router to the defaults. Most router's have a "reset" button in the back. Push a pin or paperclip in there and hold it for about 30seconds with the power on. This will reset it to manufacturer defaults.
