Nut grass can be a hard issue to solve, it could be require a strong herbicide and the re-sodding of your lawn.

The only way grass is by using a pesticide.It is most likely that this will also kill off your lawn also.There is no organic way of killing nut grass as the roots are extremely hardy.If you try to pull out the nut grass you will leave the "nuts" in the ground which will allow new plants to grow.

You can kill it with an organici grasse killer, but may kill the other grasses in your lawn and yard as well. You can always go and rototill the lawn, shock it with weed killer, and then reseed the entire area. This will allow for only new seed to grow.

Buy Roundup from the hardware store and spray it on whatever you want to kill.
