There will be a new ranking and you will have to control the situation. Purchase a large crates for the dogs to stay in when you are not around.

Always supervise when your dog are together, especially the first time. The younger dog will have to learn his place and understand that the older one is going to be the alpha, at least while the new dog is a puppy. As long as you are attentive you shouldn't have any problems

Give the dogs time to get to know each other. When you introduce the two, make sure you are around to monitor. Let the dogs sniff and lick each other. They should get along as long as you give BOTH dogs attention all the time. If you favor the new one, the other may become aggressive against it.
