Insert the air gap, then secure it from above with a locknut and push its cover into place so that the sink cabinet is below the air gap. Secure the d/w's discharge hose to the air gap. You will have to adjust the retaining nut and cap of the air gap to make sure that it's properly seated.

Air gaps are quite difficult to install for your dish washer. No common man will be able to do it unless you have some training. You should basically take it to the store and ask them to repair for you.

Bring the dishwasher drain hose into the sink cabinet around 7" above the floor. Then turn the hose up and hang it as high to the underside of the countertop as possible. Then connect the end of the hose onto a dishwasher tailpiece that is attached to the bottom of the basket strainer.

Take the dishwasher near to cabinet nearly around seven inches from ground. Make the mouth of hose up and then connect the end of hose with dishwater tale piece that will be in the bottom. But never do anything which you dont know. I think you should call the proper person for this work

for elctrical appliances, we do not have to install anything of our own. We have to followup the dealer's advise and do accordingly.
