How do I install a light switch that includes an outlet?

The switch has two connecting points one each for incoming power and the other to pass it to the light with an additional wire leading to the outlet

Purchase a switch/outlet combination. Wire the switch to function like a switch and wire the other end to function like an outlet. A switch is an interrupt of a circuit, so don't short the hot and ground wires by attaching them both to the switch. The outlet will be wired like that though.

Take the two white wires wire nutt them together with a pigtail. Put the copper colored wire on the green screw and tighten. Put the white wire on the silver colered screw. Put the power wire on the black screw and on the oppisite side put the light control wire on the black screw.
