Similar to dyer or a washer vent you must run the piping to the outside of the house and make sure that you use the right power to hook it up.

Mark and measure about 6 inches from the sink with the template you were given, start drilling the hole for the vent, be careful not to drill to fast as you might crack the counter , insert the vent up through until the threads poke through the top and tighten the nut.

First drill holes for vent. Insert the air gap vent. Turn of power to circuit. Position dish washer and attach the drain hose. Its simple

Mark and measure location, insert the air gap vent up through the underside of the counter, try to run it without any dishes. Then Done!
