How can I go about venting a basement toilet?

I have done almost the whole basement bathroom myself.

If you don't have a window in the bathroom then you should put a fan in the ceiling. It should be pretty easy to run the vent outside. That ways mold and mildew won't be a problem.

Cut a hole in the ceiling and install a ventilation fan. You'll need to go buy one from a home improvement store, and run wires from your mains to a switch and the fan itself. Alternatively, finding a window that you can change to be openable could be useful.

If you have a suspended ceiling I'd recommend putting a fan that exhausts outside in that ceiling If it's another type of ceiling and you have the room I'd install a suspended ceiling. Otherwise I would install a forced air fan in the window.
