Once in labor you should have towels around so that you can help her to take the sacs off of the pups. Dry them off, make sure she allows the pups to eat and cleans them off and licks them. Let her eat the sacs it helps with producing milk.

your best option is to make sure she has somewhere quite and warm and leave her be. If she is happy for you to be in the room just sit quitely and watch, interfer as little as possible unless she runs into trouble. Good Luck.

Make sure she has a quiet, calm, safe space without lots of activity. If she is straining without having a pup take her to the vet.

Helping a dog in labor is very easy; leave her alone in a quiet corner. Nature will take it's course and more than likely your dog will want to be by herself unless the labor is difficult. If this is the case have your dog's vet on the phone or at your home to assist with anything she'll need.

You just need to be there for her. You maybe should take it to the vet, if you don't know what to do. The vet can help by telling you what you need to do to help the dog out. You should talk to the vet to find out more about what you need to do.

The best thing to do is to let the dog go through the natural way because they usually go threw labor great. Then if you see her having trouble give her a little help. But many times when people help the female they are on the defense and don't want you to touch them.

First the dog will try to find a quiet place, somewhere she feels protected, like under the bed. In order to help her you have to make sure she is warm enough, you can use a kind of nest or towels will help her too, and of course... stay by her side! The rest of it is on her!
