How do I go about connecting a VCR and DVR to Dish Network?

If it is a recorder then you can run your dish into the unit and out to the tv. If not you can just hook it directly into one of the tv connections HDMI, Component Video, AV, or S Video and use the input button to select that connection.

DVR should have a direct input for your Dish system. Instead of going directly to a network modem plug your connection directly to the DVR and viola.

to use your dvr with dish network it has to be one that was bought from them. For the vcr either connect the coaxial cable to the cable input on the tv, or use the red whit and yellow video and audio wires and connect them to the tv
