Use hydrogen peroxide. Pour a little of the peroxide directly on the stain, it should bubble and start to lift the stain. Then throw item in washer.

The best way to do this is to use a spot remover before washing. I use Shout and it works so well with my regular detergent. Hope that works for you.

If it is a small stain, try some laundry stain remover before laundering. If it is a larger area, and the article is able to be bleached, then apply stain remover and then bleach while washing. It may be necessary to scrub by hand first, then launder in a machine.
