The best way to get rid of any type of weedy grass is to have a healthy lawn. That means water and fertilize your lawn on a regular basis. Pull the water grass out by hand, and use a screwdriver to get all the roots out. Then seed the area and water it. That is the best way.

you can get rid of water grass to use soap water, chemical, and plough through it.it will die and land will be better.

the reason for water on your grass is possibly poor drainage a quick remedy would be to fork the grass start at one end and move along fork every foot
