Moss hates alkaline soil. To make soil more alkaline, add ashes or lime. However, have your soil tested first before adding lime since this could affect its PH balance.

To get the moss in the flower bed is that it prefers a firm acidic substrate and moisture. Also,it requires indirect sunlight. We can also add organic matter to make the soil good and cultivate the soil with a hoe. The Moss and Algae Killer product controls the growth of moss.
