How do I get rid of a squirrel in the attic who is destroying all my old electronic equipment?

The best thing to do would be to probably call an exterminator or an animal control personal and in the meantime, to bring your electronic equipment down from the attic. Another thing would be to drop small quantities of fox pee around your attic to scare the squirrel off. This will frighten it and also prevent it from returning.

You can easily purchase an inexpensive cage trap, place peanut butter or other bait inside the cage and when the squirrel gets in the cage will close behind him.

Killing or trapping the animal won't do any good if there is a nice place left open for another squirrel to come in. Look for open eaves, chew holes etc. Once you find that and figure out how to block it, you need to decide if you want to use a humane trap and relocate the animal or poisons.

You need to trap the squirrel and get it out of the attic. The best and most humane way to do this is to get a live trap and bait it with some kind of food that will attract the squirrel. Once the squirrel goes into the trap and is trapped, simply take it outside and let it go.
