How do I get hard water spots off of a car?

Use a microfiber towel or a no-scratch silicone blade to dry before you get spots. Also use a filter spray to wash your car with to eliminate the need to dry at all. Once you have the spots either wipe with filter water on a microfiber towel or use a spray detailer or a clay bar.

Some people suggest that you can use vinegar but there's an easier solution thanks to Mother's. Mother's now has a clay bar kit that contain a clay bar, cleaner, and detailer. just spray the whole car with the cleaner, rub with the clay bar and your car will be free of water spots. I highly suggest a wax after.

You can get hard water spot soff of your car by waxing it thoroughly yourself. Don't take it to a car wash; buy hand rub wax and wax your entire vehicle. The spots will come off.

Best way is to avoid parking where your car gets exposed to hard water, i generally use wax to wipe off the hard water spots,I also use a wet sponge with stain removing liquid for cars, it always does the trick.
