The best way to get grout off tile is when it is wet. If it has dried and you have non porous tile you should be able to re-wet and wipe off. If porous you will have to get a grout cleaner and use a lot of elbow grease.

using nylon brushes to scrub the tile again and again with water is the best idea instead of mobbed it up.

I will first scrape the grout off the tile using a scraper. Then I will rub the portion with a clean cloth.
