Very slowly, you can add fish right away, but just a few, to get the chemicals going, but do not add plants, keep up your bi-weekly water changes. Always do a 20 percent water change when you do and never use tap water always use ro water. Just be very patient.

First, thoroughly blend dechlorinated water with the salt mix. The tank needs to cycle for five weeks. Use live sand as substrate and cured live rock to speed up cycling.

Very very slowly. We have a 125 gallon saltwater tank. When you start the tank, don't add any fish for months. Let the levels start naturally. Starting a saltwater tank is a slow process but very rewarding.
