How do I fix Wordpad difficulties?

Press F1 to access the Wordpad help and check for the configuration options. Make sure your system is properly set up. If the problem persist try to open the document with another application to examine its contents and detect the cause of the difficulties.

You may have an incorrectly installed or corrupt version of Wordpad. You should uninstall and reinstall Wordpad. If that does not fix the problem you might need to contact Microsoft so they can provide detailed technical support.

As an alternative - try viewing in notepad first, if the file does not open properly, likelyhood is you don't have a wordpad problem. If you are having problems authoring in wordpad, consider using the sun open office applications to access the MS Word emulator - this will give you full and free, a better solution.

Many problems in Wordpad can be fixed with the help of the help file which can be accessed by pressing the F1 key on the keyboard.
