How do I fix the broken outside door handle on my 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix?

Battery has to be disconnected first. Open door to take out interior door panel. Carefully unplug any wire harness that are connected to panel. Put door panel on the side once its tooken off. Take lever arm off arm handle then put new handle on and put interior panel on.

You ahve to remove the old one and take it to a salvage yard with you to make sure you are gett the proper replacement handle and show it to them tell them you need another one of them and then when you bring it hom take the inside of the door off and put the new part on.

Disconnect the battery. Open the door and start by removing the interior door panel, carefully unplug any wiring harness holding the panel on, set panel aside. Remove lever arm connected to the handle. Replace handle and reconnect lever arm. Replace interior door panel.

You're going to need to open the door panel, on the inside of the door are some rubber guards that can be removed by hand. You'll need sockets after.

Take old one off unplug any wire harness if its plugged up on the door. Set panel to the side disconnect lever to the handle. Put lever on/the new handle.
