How do I fix ceiling fan lights that have stopped working?

Is the reason they don't work the switch? Light bulbs? Does the fan have power? Is the remote control out of batteries? Has a circuit breaker blown recently that drives the fan? Clearly there are multiple reasons for failure. Once you diagnose the reason for the failure you can then resolve the issue.

Obviously, you first try to replace the light bulbs as this is the fastest and cheapest repair. If that doesn't work, call in your husband and ask him for the phone number of his electrician buddy. Call the buddy and ask him for the name and number of his greatest competition in the business. Call them, and get a quote.

Change the bulb. If that doesn't fix it then take that part of the fan off (turn off circuit breaker) and make sure all the wires are connected properly.

If the lights on your ceiling fan have gone out I would first check and replace the lights and see if that works.

You may need to take it to a store to have them fix it. Or replace the light bulbs in the fan. You may need to take it to a repair shop.
