Most cars have hydraulic clutches, Assuming that your vehicle is a manual then you need to find the clutch in the car and remove it. The clutch plates are most likely worn out. Take it to a mechanic.

You are going to need to find the slave cylinder for the Geo Tracker. It is most likely going to be inside the transmission so you are going to have to take the transmission down and there will be 3 bolts holding it in.

You will need to take it in to have it looked at. I think only a professional so work on it. They will tell you what needs to be done to fix it. Or you can go get a manual for the car to fix it. Just tell them the make and model of the car.
