How do I fix a DNS error?

I keep getting a DNS error.

A DNS error is usually a signifier of a network fault. You can go to your internet settings and click restore all, or type ipconfig/release in the terminal window.

A DNS error can be caused by 2 main things. 1st would be that your internet connection is not working correctly. Second could the website could be offline.

DNS converts names like to IP addresses. If this only happens on one website, the problem is with the site. Not much can be done. If you have this problem on all sites, change your DNS server settings in TCP/IP settings. Good servers are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
